My Tribal Solution To Somalia

Somalia has 4 Main Armed Tribes. The Darod, Dir, Hawiye, Rahanwayn. Everyone thinks their stronger then the other. The nation has been at a stalemate due to sub-clan wars and differing political-economic agendas.

Isn't it time if u love Somalia and want it to settle down without this 30 year stalemate, we set up a desert arena in the middle of nowhere, bring in a neutral clan such as Rahanwayn @mohamedismail to observe and monitor a Darod vs Irir Battle. The war will be 'capped' to ensure no 'edge' numerically on numbers, weaponry. It will all be down to 'strategy' brilliance of your tribe and their bravery, morale, and how well they follow and carry out their tasks and instructions from their leadership.

Once and for all, we will know who is the strongest tribe pound 4 pound and then everyone tanasuls automatically on who gets to rule Somalia after that. Or do u want to remain in this sub-clan naar stalemate till 2080. Is a tribal war the answer we need so it can lead to automatic recognition from all Somalis your clan is most suited to defend the nation interests.

I would scream in joy if this tribal war game happened, knowing finally the sub-clan stalemate era is coming to an end.

I would definitely rush my ass to Somalia sayin 'allahu akbar' manta 'xal dhab ah' ayaa laga hadlaya oo wax ka soo bixi kara for centuries.

I would also team up and provide in-put for the Darods thru my jifi bah dubays and reminding them of their war 'history' in many historical battles and to honor our name and Darod.

I would personally vote for Irir.

Daarood ruled Somalia for 21 years (Siyaad Barre) and made us Reewin second class citizens with less representation then .5s. He also split out deegaans and gave them to his Daarood subclan settling Marehans in Gedo and Ogaden in jubooyinka. We would not be willing to go back to that.

I would personally go for a Irir leader as we have more represention under them. A Daarood leader would only make us second class citizens farming for the Daarood taking us back to the dreadful kacaan period.

From my observation Irir are more just and fair then Daarood. Daaroods want to dominate the whole of Somalia and don't know how to share fairly.

Irir even though their governing skills are lacking to a degree they are a lot more just and fair then their Daarood counterparts.

I agree Darod have this problem of not sharing power, they even do this inside themselves not just with non darod. This a valid issue I am trying to get PL to change, in-fact I think it's outright stupid to limit Somalia potential to a clan or tribe or sub clan or jifi.

PL does that madness thru Maxamud Saleban, Marehan thru Reer diini, Ogaden Reer Abdulle. Do we want to become like ajuuran who did a similar selfish thing and look where they are today, if we repeat their legacy, surely u don't need much intelligence to see u also repeat their future(extinction).

I want a Rahanwayn Alliance with Darod, becuz of how u guys were 'gifted' to see federation when my people weren't, that's 'rabbani' walle, in 1955 u guys saw this project was heading nowhere and had no somali characteristics embedded in it and was complete colonial and foreign cut n paste.

Even if we adopted your model of language based federation, Baidoa could've survived and helped save the other 'maxaa tiri' lands, or it cud of led to all clans adopting federations and switching it from language based one to a clan based one.

I agree in that sense.

If daarood want to lead Somalia they need to leave this idea they are superior to Somalis. This idea they are superior and lack of humility is what led them to have so many enemies in 91 and for the "Somali Vs Darod" dynamic to occur.

If they treated all Somalis as equal and led justly no games. They would probably lead Somalia for good.

Somali situation is pure madness. They don't want to co-exist(jir aaan jire federation mentality), they don't want to separate, they don't want to fight it out. Thats impossible naar situation, raggu way kala baxan and make decision, not remain 30 year in a void
