My mother stopped by police

So my mother was stopped by the police because she was out in the mall with my nephew. Apparently a woman called the police because she didn’t like that my mother was out with a “white” kid. The fact that white people adopt black kids all the time must slipped her mind? Like what’s wrong with ppl I thought it was just an american thing to call the police on black people

These idiots are governed by fear, they can't even have the decency to be neutral about a person.
The assumption is always "this person is up to no good".
They can't confront the "problem" themselves so they involve the law, thus unnecessarily escalating the whole thing.

And when things go awry, they'll wipe their hands and think of every excuse under the sun.
They're the worst kind of people imaginable.
