I deal with law as it is, not as you want it to be

Freedom of marriage in pratical terms means you have a Wali that can deny your marriage request, and only Hanafi gives you some recourse.

Secondly, divorce without the consent of the man only comes into play faksh, where it must be proven that the husband has a defect, that husband/wife has transgressed as non-muslim/adultery ect.

The divorce can only be given in judicial proceeding with men that are less than sympathetic to you, while the man can say a phrase and be over with it, look at that equality
