so my female is out of town for this week and I always see this laptop laying around that never uses. I got so livid today I posted it on Craigslist and now some tuug ( I think it's a Nigerian) is asking me if I would take a check ( British English-=cheque). I outright rejected him.

Good job. Never trust Nigerians even the rich looking ones are good at scamming.

Just so you know, this word I use directly translates into Somali ...naagteyda =female
Yh but you have to admit it implies something different in the English context though lol:bell:
Ha dee, mise the neighbourhood's female miya? :comeon: :chrisfreshhah:
:umwhat::mindblown::birdman:I don't know if I'm understanding you correctly but if so, :pacspit:
:comeon:

stop this PC nonsense, you will be someone's female. Naagtayda= my female
PC? I can't believe I just got called PC:susp:I am the one of the least PC posters on this forum; I just reject the other side of the extreme. In this particular case, it's not that deep though, I just thought the word choice was odd...considering other words that could've been used...
It's better than nayaa, habaar qabte, qumanyo, balayayahay, etc.
I see where you're coming from, but ideally speaking, the fact that something worse exists still doesn't make it good imo.
