My female cousin is getting dhaqan celis

Praise the lord :ahh:

Her father passed away young and she only has younger brothers so I’m the only one who has to look out for her. But there’s only so much you can do since she ain’t your sibling and she doesn’t live that close to you.

But she is on her way right now to laascaanood. Her mum wanted to take her to hargeisa but I told her about this girl I know who turned into a after she started mixing with other dhaqan celis kids.

My heart is at ease now wallah so much stress removed. :rejoice:

Who's the poor girl going to live with if she's leaving her mother? What about her education?? Why only her and not her brothers? So many questions.

She's old enough to know right from wrong. I swear people think dhaqan celis is the answer to all their problems.

Her brothers are all under 10. She already finished her education at college, in 2-3 years time after she learnt her dhaqan and deen she can come back and apply to university. There is no age limit from when you should know right and wrong, all girls need guidance in their life.

Because in the patriarchal system women carry the family pride and the burden of the high standard it sets on their "moral" behavior.

It is not about what is best for her but instead how to best conform her to the social norms expected of muslim women.

I also object to infantilizing a legal adult for actions that are reasonable and carry no objective harm, and argument that Islamic law or somali culture greater morality is mute when the former endorses sex slavery and the latter mutilate female children to deprive them of pleasure.

You send them back young. 18 is too late for reform, was she a ? She'll come back a lot worse and can even go to her nearest embassy

From what I've seen, the most successful cases of dhaqan celis are when the whole family move. TOGETHER. Sending a girl out on her own? one questions the real motive. If you're taking the responsibility of providing her with 'guidance' then you haven't really done a good job. It's like throwing a child that can't swim in the pool and hoping for the best.

Some parents become frustrated with the effects of their bougie life choices and subsequently sabotage their children life. It's not like Somalia is short of dangers to girls.

Dhaqan celis only works if the person is around 9-10 18 is way too late

Somali parents in the west think dhaqan celis is the solution when theyre kid is doing bad Back home is no different if youre kid was drinking and partying he Will be doing it in Somalia aswell

My sister is 14 years old, I just don’t let her hang around Somali girls because the ones here are all bad influence and have roadmen brothers. You’re a weakling of a man who has to use steroids because your testosterone levels is that of a female. Imagine being so sauceless that you have to post body pics for girls on somalispot :/

More fake stories that came straight out of your imagination, and still believing in your imaginary sister. This is a common trait for people with asperger syndrome. Go get mentally checked and maybe that will help you stop living in your imagination..

Lol nah it’s not that bad. She doesn’t pray her salah anymore, listening to music and started wearing jeans sometimes not wearing a hijab, started mixing with the wrong crowd in her last year of college, being rude to her mother. She is going to laascaanood not xamar or hargeisa. The only thing she’s gonna be drinking is caano geel.

While dhaqan celis does not work most of the time but given the situation ur cousin seems promising. If she did finish school, sometimes a little change in scenery does the trick. I hope she comes back as a responsible person and wins the trust of ur family again :)

How would you know who she’s hanging around with in college?

I smell bullshit
