me neither. I can't sleep unless it's around my family. I've heard too much horror stories about predatory men and what woman do to each other. I'm just too paranoid and think of the worst.

May I ask why don’t you live with your parents? Are they in SomaliaSo I’ve lived alone for a couple years now and have had some CRAZY experiences, I have roommates because my credit is shit and a bachelor apartment is half my paycheck so I always rent rooms.
These are some of my most… ‘unique’ moments
So my first roommates were my moms friend, it was nice because it was $400 with food and my own room but it wasn’t good because she was a single mom with 3 kids who needed a babysitter 24/7 and the place was always dirtyI’d give this a 2/10
Second one was when I was 19, I lived with these girls who were at uni and my landlord was some rich half caadan half indayar girl who’s mom literally bought her a house so she didn’t have to use a dorm at school and pay 10k
I lived in the basement with the caadan girl and oh my gosh I never realized how hoeish they truly are bismillah this girls room was a revolving door! They call it ‘playing the field’ I went to a party with them and she went home with the first guy she saw. She had a body count of 32 at 20 and showed me a list while tipsyI always thought I was liberal but this girl made me say ALHAMDULILAH for being a virgin walahi!
She was so depressed afterwards and would drink boxed wine (I’ve never drank alcohol in my life but boxed wine sounds ghetto asf) it was sad asf. She and the half indayar were bothered that I was a Muslim and would say passive aggressive shit about me, I think they expect all madow women to be hoes and were bothered that they were worse than me
The half indayar girl hated that she was half Chinese and it was a sore spot whenever I brought it up, she also had a khanis looking caadan bf, he would always stare at me in a creepy way. The other indayar girl was quiet and minded her own business with her boyfriend. This place was a mess in general but the house was really nice and the landlord would make fun activities for us so I’d give it a 4/10
I lived in the basement of a Morrocan family and there were a lot of Hindis who lived there. These girls were usually nice until you understood their language and know what ‘kalu’ is. I noticed similar to indayar, they usually date around their friend groups.There was a girl who came in from Tamil Nadu, she got told off the first week she was here because she met a guy and was sneaking him into her room
I was suprised I thought Indian girls were conservative like Muslim girls?! Literally every Indian roommate that I’ve ever had has snuck a guy in
And the place I currently live doesn’t have a rating but I do live with West African girls and they are fine but they are really hostile towards me, idk why WA girls just automatically dislike me even when I try and be positive towards themI hate the way they dress, I don’t like seeing ass cheeks all the time but at least they don’t bring guys around and generally just mind they’re own buisness so ngl these girls aren’t too bad alhamdulilah.

I’m a guy and even I can’t imagine leaving my parents house before marriage unless I’m preparing for marriage. Most Somali guys I know don’t have that kind of history with them let alone the women, so seeing a women with a past that liberal is probably gonna make most Somali guys not wanna have much to do with you. So my question is what made you leave your house? The only reason I can think of is a really troubled home that’s super messed up.
Never mind, I just read your past post and I see why you are the way you are. I grew up in a troubled home too and was physically and verbally abused to the point where I still have marks had open wounds and broken bones but that’s just the process of growing up as a hyperactive Somali boy. I was only ever kicked out 2-3 times and never kicked out of my house for too long (couple hours or so) and I calmed down as I got older cause I just had a hyperactivity problem and not a behavioural one Alhamdulillah.
Now I have a good relationship with my mother and an okay one with my family but I barely feel a sense of love (pretty sure I grew up in a loveless home), but that’s okay cause I live in comfort now and whenever I feel lonely I remind myself that Allah SWT loves me more than I could even imagine and then my heart feels content.
May Allah SWT guide you towards the right path and make this life easier for you.

I have only 2 crazy roomate stories (one being my current situation actually) but tbh I think the stories I have from viewing rooms are 100x crazier tho. Brb im gonna try to make a brief summary after I’m done my work and shit maybe I should make a thread I swear it’s literally gonna sound fake but the rental market in Canada is so fucking crazy that worst stories than mine can easily be found on kijiji 
Imma tag you in it too because I feel like these stories need to be sharedLiving with cadaan roommates on my uni year abroad in Norway made me thankful for Islam and made me realise I'm not as bad as I think I am. They went at it 24/7 and every Saturday there'd be a multitude of random women coming in. I tolerated it as I thought it was caadi until one of the quiet one brought a guy home
