Just had his left leg amputated in the early hours of today. He was involved in some brawl outside a club in south London and someone rammed onto him with a car. Alhamdulillah, he managed to quickly move most of his body out of the way, except for his left leg. Every bone in the leg was shattered, it was in such a state that they had to amputate. He was a good kid only 19, and now his life has changed forever. Gonna be seeing him tomorrow morning and I don't even know what I'm gonna say. May Allah SWT make it easy for him.

May Allah make it easy for him, indeed this is a test.

That is a very serious life alteration. I would bust a joke or two if I were you. No point in dwelling on his amputation. You can tell him he ain't got to work anymore if he gets disability. Clear the air so to speak.

If I had to lose a limb, I'd choose a leg tbh, at least y'all could possibly get a decent prosthetic without going bankrupt.

If he overcomes the emotional trauma, I think he'll be fine. I hope he recovers soon and sees this as a sign. Many others were gunned down in nightclubs. Futo ain't worth naar.

He got very lucky as many said, you need to remind him of this as many people are not fortunate enough to get these kind of reminders, the fact he survived means there is still a lot of good in him.

Not long ago 4 old school friends I knew in the past that refused to give up that life style died in a violent car crash after they were returning from a party in another city, weeks before I saw one of them and was warning him but he laughed making jokes about it.

I can't imagine losing a limb, it changes your life forever. May Allah make it easy for him as his family, as well as help him overcome his physical and emotional trauma.
