I'll be a widow with kids!!! :mjcry: That means i'll have to struggle again! my aim to to work only 1-2 days a week and focus on my kids. I have no plans on raising ciyalsuuq children :westbrookwtf: i need to be at home and involved in every aspect of their lives. I can't do that I if become a widow!

Gen Z Somalis are the luckiest ones. They are usually the youngest in their family, have older siblings and parents with more income to spare. Their parents learned through trial and error with the first batch (Millenials). Allahuma Baarik.

Somalis need to move out of the ghettos and climb up the ladder.
Somalis do need to move up the social ladder. I've never lived in the ghettos, but I lived majority of my life in the neighborhoods next to them. wallahi, I have a serious desire to move up and make sure my kids don't even know what ghetto is:sass2::ufdup:

Like how bad were the previous gen:ayaanswag:
I'm wondering how a Somali plans to have Cinderella dreams? They all start out nice but once you both hit the 40 mark, he's going back home to look for another wife maybe 2.......

I see so many successful somalis bless my Linkedin feed. I'm actually proud of where we are heading.
I feel for Millenials tho, they had no one to guide them and ruined their lives with drugs and crime.

there are men who don't do that. I have 3 aunts. 2 are in their late 40s, 1 early 50s. None of their husbands don't have a 2nd wife. Aunt 1 have been married for 18 years, aunt 2 for 23 years, aunt 3 for more than 30 years. They are my aspiration :mjlol: they are all housewives that don't work, their husbands pay all the bills. I look to them for future advice! :banderas:
Mashallah!

living frugal life forever is baraka--u will be praying to Allaah swt and remembering your lord. How lucky can u be?

If u have money and busy with fun and life. U r a loser if you do not remember your God
