Are some of the most annoying low iq followers I’ve ever seen.

they will genuinely act like you’re committing a sin for not following the language rules of a gaalo language.

who decided that capitalizing letters is a sign of respect? Kufar? You expect me to adhere to their customs and traditions otherwise I’m committing an Islamic sin?

“god” is not any of the names of Allah (swt). In fact, if you look up the definition of god:
God
/ɡäd/

noun
  1. 1.
(in Christianity and other monotheisticreligions) the creator and ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority; the supreme being.

  2. 2.
(in certain other religions) a superhumanbeing or spirit worshiped as having power over nature or human fortunes; a deity.

god is not Allah’s name and it is not his title either. I am under no Islamic obligation to capitalize the word “god” as it holds a loose connection and meaning to Allah himself.

by that logic you should expect me to capitalize “creator” or “ruler”. They are as descriptive of Allah in the English language as “god”. We are speaking gaalo language and have no reason to assume their made up rules matter in Islam.

all that matters are your intention and following the rules set in hadiths and the Quran. 200 years from now the English language could evolve to no longer capitalize any letters. Will you still be capitalizing g in god? Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds?

The muslims that try to correct anyone who doesn’t capitalize g in “god” and get so upset and argue with you are often times confused themselves or are just following gaalo.

When someone says God when referring to Allah, the "G" should be capitalized just like the "A" in Allah should be capitalized every time. That's all that means.

'God' is a proper noun- it's literally the rule of the language to do so you dimwit, please do your homework please.
God is a proper noun only in Christian context.
Proper noun

a name used for an individual person, place, or organization, spelled with initial capital letters

“God” is not Allah’s name.

And even IF it was a proper noun that had to be capitalized, that would at worst be a grammatical error. Not a sin. Correcting someone would be correcting them as an English thing not a Muslim thing.

That’s not what they mean, people will say you are disrespecting Allah and committing a sin for not capitalizing G.

@Caaro, 'God' is a proper noun in english in any monotheistic sense. If the god is singular then it must be capitalized. Notice how I did not capitalize god there? That is because I was talking about the concept of a god and not actually talking about God.

I for one capitalize the word 'God' when required, but me personally I just use 'Allah' most of the time (which also is a proper noun), I do not know the position of the scholars on this issue so I won't cast judgment on what words to say but me personally I prefer 'Allah' just to differentiate myself from western polytheists.

My argument isn’t on the grammatical use, if you read my post again but this time using your brain, you would see I’m talking about people who pretend not using perfect English grammar is a sin.
