Muqdisho internet laggy and unreliable

Man watching YT videos at 480p at best. Sometimes it gets so laggy and quality drops 144p ~ 240p.

I've tested Somtel 4g/4g+ at full bar but speeds are ridiculously low.

We have also Hormuud ASDL landline at home. At day time its impossible to watch anything whitout lags. Night times its decent.

P0rn is also blocked. I had to buy VPN.

Somtel charges 15$ for unlimited and Hormuud 20$. I miss watching 4k content.

Back when I used to watch ( stopped for couple years) I used to use x-vpn when in xamar and that’s shits always free for me for some reason.

You bought a VPN? Hahaha, I downloaded a free one at the age of 12 in Hargeisa.

Somtel internet/wifi is apprently the fastest, although more costly than Telesom.

Not sure about poor local folks but majority (I’d say 90% of ppl) who live in my neighbourhood in xamar have relatives living abroad which send them remittances or are businessmen. but even your average person just do the $5 for 12gb.
