They were happy when Faroole lost and Gaas won. I remember when he won and was leaving the building, the journalists asked him whether he would resume ties with HSM. He said no until the issues are resolved. Gaas added 'Puntland is more than a mere individual, the PL state cut ties, not Faroole'.

Gaas will most likely not return, but the hawkish puntland politics will remain the same as long as we have people like minister Cabdirashid in our midst

If your HY, I will talk to you, but if you jeegaan, it's waste of time because u will obviously protect your key leverage over HY(hargeisa capital, berbera port, jigjiga trade, all foreign aid in hargeisa, all weapons in habar awal territories with sacad muse commander), there is no point talking to jeegaan as far reer qardho is concerned.
