I don’t believe it. He didn’t sign the NCC agreements on the extension/elections and is trying to get as much as possible from them. The extensions are open ended and there’s no chance of local elections in time for June 2024 in KG. Only Galmudug is possible.

In Dhusamareb in his address to citizens questions he said QoorQoor needs to agree an election plan before his term is up.
