The more i baby sit the more i dont want to be a mom. ugh! why is motherhood so boring?
Somali moms are the best, i think what puts me off is that all their lives revolves around their kids i cant imagine being that way. I feel like i would go nuts lol How can i force myself to like motherhood? Am wrong for feeling this way? i would hate to kids then hate them for having them.
I am so conflicted help

Kids are insurance for you when you grow old, if you raise them well they won’t forsake you at the time when you need them the most. With them around you won’t feel lonely or bored.

Children grow fast just be patient until they can take care of themselves. If you leave offspring who are Muslim behind they will make dua for you and you would get good deeds as a result.

Babysitting other peoples kids or even siblings are different than having your own. You might change your mind once you've formed that emotional connection! Plus girl your not the only one taking care of them whats your man supposed to be doing lol

work, get a hobby, dont ditch your friends after you get married, spend time with other family members etc too much home time will make anyone crazy change it up..

Its a good thing. Having babies kinda takes the attention off yourself. U have a purpose.

I heard from different women that you change emotionally when you have kids. So your brain will probably be wired to feel very happy when around you child.

Don't marry a useless selfish ass bum! Takes two to taango, meaning the kids are both of your responsibility. Alhamdulilah I had an active father in my life my expectations are the same, plus i'm sure most men wouldn't mind helping I think our generation will be different and more active in their kids lives atleast I hope so

yes me too hun, my dad is hands on walahi to this day he is very independent. thank you caddey i will try my best hopefully he will be a nice fella inshaAllah

It was the opposite for me, baby sitting changed from wanting loads of kids to disliking kids.
