More than 20 percent of black people in America have an immigrant background

There are many Ethiopians and Eritreans in NYC. West Africans also make up a huge portion of African migrants there.
really I remember a habesha complaining how there's little to none of them there and also others. We ain't really up there tbh. Just west and north Africans if we talking about africans

And I will! I think sigala is from the UK
:mjlol:

Sister @Sigala acts an expert in the US while she lives in UK. Her information is based on what she saw in movies and what she heard from others. I was surprised when she talked about Los Angeles even though she hasn't visited that city. Now, she is also an expert on Minneapolis. '

Most kenyans I’ve met that came here mid 2000s - 2010s were Somali

There are many Kenyan Bantus and Nilots in the USA. They just lie low, don't congregate in one area, but there are many Kikuyus, Luo, Kalenji, and other tribes. They're quiet people and spread out throughout the country. I've seen many of them in the South and MidWest USA.

Kenyans live in Dallas mainly and some in Atlanta

In the Midwest as well. In North Carolina, Phoenix, and DC areas. Those are the areas that I've seen them.

We need to adopt how the Kenyans and Eritreans live in the diaspora: They lie low and stay out of trouble.

keep in mind when crimes are committed in Minneapolis by any East African they are quick to blame Somali ppl without actually verifying.

They even pin crimes committed by non East Africans on us so I really am questioning the so called “Somali crime” rate in Minneapolis.

Minneapolis Somali community is actually doing well and up and coming with their ventures. Don’t let a hater tell you otherwise.

Do you see more Somalis leaving Minnesota in the future especially the second generation

I really don't see a mass exodus happening but Maybe some might move for better weather in the winter.

I knew plenty who moved to Texas when it used to be cheaper but that's not the case anymore. DFW has gone up in $$$ and just isn't a deal anymore.

Good to hear Minnesota is still the ideal place for Somalis in America we don’t need to leave our economic and political base in North America
