Also I do not really even lionize Siyaad and as far as critiques of Soviet Union from the left go he [Siyaad] is not well-known, in fact I did not even know of his words on the subject until you posted them. Mao's words on this subject are more well known and in my opinion offer more insight (his words on that)

Only the people are immortal, everything else is ephemeral. But he could not do it in time.
