Extension to 21 year rule? Like Afaworki & Cumar Gheele?
It’s a 2 year extension that the parliament voted on relax on the qabyalad when HSM got his extension no one was calling him a dictator and that’s coming from someone that doesn’t even support Farmaajo’s extension he shouldn’t get an extra 2 years to conduct a 1m1v election but to call him a dictator is stupid. And furthermore calling for Xamar citizens to do 1991 part 2 is xaasid as f*ck, it’s mostly people who don’t come from Mogadishu calling for war because they know it won’t be their men dying to Farmaajo’s troops and it won’t be their city getting destroyed.

People on the ground are saying the city is still enjoying peace and no signs of widespread violence alx. Our people can not return to war, we have to remember politics change all the time, we must be patient and use our vote to oust or elect politicians. No more destruction of self or property. 
Tbh all candidates are as corrupt as Farmajo apart from the fact that they have no dictator tendancies and are not fostering qabyalad conflicts.

Setting a date for the election will be the first way out of this mess. But Farmaajo's trust among the people of Somalia has diminished greatly because of this "extension". But there is no way a Civil War will happen in Xamar. I would like to believe Faarmajo will resign before that happens.

Another unforgivable thing failmaajo did is to use the military to attack opposition politicians including former presidents in their own city.

Article 47 of the constitution grants the peoples house complete power over elections. The parliament was elected in HSM era and are not picked by Farmaajo.
Somalia should change the constitution , the Senate was introduced in 2017 and has power over federal laws. I believe the Senate should have power over all laws in Somalia like the US.
Somalia is actually quiet similiar to pre unification America. In many ways this is great , democracy is not easy. People will fight over how the government should actually be, keeping it the parliament is great and will help us in the future.
No new faces, dictator or not, the whole bunch of them are a loss to the people of Somalia.
And to honestly compare Akawerki and IOG to Farmajo isn't correct, IOG has the potential to make Djibouti a nation similar in wealth to a Gulf state, but failed to do so.
