Even Awdhigle areas there are African Union bases, some of them they vacated recently and SNA followed them, since they couldn’t stay.

Personally i think they can fight and at least gain some ground but the useless gov has them sitting around doing nothing. They signed up for this so send them in head first and see what happens. These lot havent even tried to advance and only defend themselves when shabaab get brave smh.

Its up to the commanders to decide, unlike Alshabab we don't want our boys to just die without proper planning.

I also dont think all of SNA is capable. US trained Danab is one of the strongest forces and do a large amount of sting ops. Yet they only are around 900 soldiers. Gorgor /Haramcad are the next most capable and only make up around 3K. The rest are essentially rag tag militia with minimal training.

I believe by the next administration end of term we will see around 7K active Turkish trianed troops who will give a boost to the army. Also Eritrean trained troops, 3-7K , are arriving this year. I expect them to be marginally better then militia.

They don't have the numbers to launch a deep offensive. So they should hold their positions until they are enough. You want these guys to just die?
