This is just pure silly, when the officials seek ictiraaf from colonialist that drew the line in the sand, they tell these beggars to go and seek it from the African Union first.

They then go to the African union as told with the Ictiraaf begging bowl, little did they knew, Aabe Ethiopia clandestinely blocks this under the guise they should first get it from Somalia and negotiate over this.

Like the utter confused donkeys that they are high on $$ and loot, they arrange a quasi peace conference with Somalia (Ethiopia avoids mediating this at all cost) a third party does.

Occupied Somalia humiliates them further by bringing a Gaderbise/Dhulbahante/Garaxajis the likes of @Duke of Bohol and @jugjugwacwac pure nationalists to represent Somalia at the negotiation tables against the colonial secessionists, upon seeing this humiliation, they exit the conference quickly arguing they will not negotiate with their own people.

They become the laughing stock and this cycle continues, they are too stupid to realise that the main blockers of this are Ethiopia and the Western world itself. Ethiopia because it fears all federal states will call for independence which some do already, this would set deadly precedence and give credence and the idea of 3 Somali states bordering them scares them

The Western world refuses (really America) because they supposedly got several contracts signed for all the resources of Somalia for the next 100 years, which is being used to block virtually everything, recognition would mean that contracts will become null and voice, hence the blocker.

It's no accident that all the smartest people and posters from Somaliland that I have come across, and there are many of them, don't support this ictiraaf sham project, only the dumb stupid among them do, I never come across an intelligent person ever that supports ictiraaf, you can't be smart and support this

Sir, you clearly have no understanding of international relations.

Somaliland has de facto sovereignty and no sane entity would give that up without a fight or a sweet deal.


Whether ictiraaf comes or not, a major impass will come where Somalia will have to make major concessions to Somaliland or risk another civil war. At which point, the international community will intervene and Somalia will have to make major concessions to Somaliland.
