Let peace prevail once Al shabab defeated in south we don’t need new conflicts to bring us back to square 1. Time for real economic growth.

We have fake economy right now based on aid and diaspora money. Everything needed to send and request money is top notch phones and cellular data everywhere. Everything else is imports of cheap goods bough using purchase power of dollar from remittance . It would be good to see Somalia currency back and manufacturing and agriculture back to before war levels and quickly surpass it due to 3x population growth. Also hope all the weird tariffs between FMS states stop, it destroys growth and investment

Inshallah. My frustration with PL is they are against the return of a strong federal government that controls monetary policy, fiscal policy like that. Having 5 different tariffs, different taxes, different customs, different currencies seems to be genuinely some people’s vision for this country. That will always lead to conflicts, border wars, disenfranchisement

You can see how useful it is having a FGS Home affairs like Fiqi, who has a strong purse and is a national politician rather than FMS states that fail to do anything.
