There is a older white guy I work with who is always broke because of his wife. He earns good money but ends up with an automatic $3000 deduction from his income every month. I always loan this guy the occasional $20 and sometimes pay for lunch.
I wouldn’t have given $3000 to the ex-wife and her kids if I was in his position. His wife and kids are being raised by another man and he is obligated to provide by the government. I don’t know how he wakes up everyday and comes to work knowing more than 50% of his monthly income will be garnished.
Cadaan people are something else. I will always be thankful to Allah for providing me with the third world of Somalia as an option. I can always go raise my camels in Ogaden or Somalia if I ever was cursed like this workmate.
