MOGADISHU (P-TIMES) - The federal government of Somalia has announced that it plans to block a delegation led by former Federal Government Presidents Hassan Sheikh and Sheikh Sharif from going to the city of Kismayo, where they will attend the inauguration of Ahmed Madobe.
According to the information, troops were stationed on the main streets of Mogadishu airport, and the VIP unit was informed that no one could leave without the permission of the Somali government.
Reports indicate that the action is a sensitive and if they attempt to refuse to led the former Presidents fly constitutes a threat, they say that they are now efforts underway to prevent conflict.
In a separate meeting last night, President Farmajo and his prime minister were confirmed to have discussed policy regarding travel to the city of Kismayo, as reports emerged yesterday that the Air Force had opened.
In Kismayo, a delegation led by Puntland President Said Deni will be landing in 3-hours and meet with reporters to discuss the current situation created by the Farmaajo administration.
