Once we became stable a bit we should bring back conscription and aim to be a military powerhouse. Then start skirmishes with ethopia and kenya. Somalis are normally violent, if we dont express our violence towards others we are gonna self-destruct. We should get rid of the excess bloodlust. Would you guys support a 2 year conscription and join the military? We should especially let these fat faraxs with stomachs full of fast food join. They will turn to real men. A strong military shouldnt be negiotable.

there are wayyyyy more important things that we can spend our money on rather than a military.
no point of spending money on a military when you can get foreign countries to do your work for you.

The military prowess in Somalia right now consists of a 1990 Toyota pick up truck and a machine gun at the back, with like 10 people stuffed inside the vehicle.
Everyone in Somalia (even Somaliland) uses this, we have not advanced technologically since the 1990s. Ethiopian tanks would crush us within a few days if we fought them right now.

We need a strong military to protect our country from internal threats like shabaab and tribal militias that fight over bore holes and individuals using clan card to keep the country from progressing. Besides that, I believe all other problems like disputes between states, SFG, local tribal animosity or even nation wide etc can only be solved by dialogue. The future is bright 
If 2 Faraxs with Machine Guns can take down a whole ship. Just imagine what a Million Faraxs can do.
