NYC is a city built off of immigration, from the British and the Dutch, to the Italians, African Americans from the South, Jews, Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, etc.
Most people in NYC are descended from those who came to the city with nothing.
However, this is different, these people are pouring in at a time where many people are already struggling financially, where housing is ridiculously expensive, and thus they have to rely on the government and random citizens to survive.
There should be a better system in place for immigrants who arrive, and that the amount of immigration should have a limit.
