I have reached 1,000 reactions and wanted to take this opportunity to send a message to Sspot.
I don't really know how i got here but i guess it was probably me at 3am surfing through the web half asleep and somehow i stumbled here and made an account.
Growing up i never really had any Somali friends since my area didn't have much east Africans, my only horn African friend irl is a habesha (Eritrean) but he is a hooyo mataalo and doesn't know anything about back home.
But alas, i have found a community of fellow sons of Samaale
I am glad to be able to share my Somali perspective on things with people who can actually understand them unlike all the cadaans and madows in my city so thank you Sspot.

I would create an honorary mentions of users i like but the list would be too long.

Same story i had no close Somali friends only somalis i hanged out with at the Quran skl and tuition. I think i was looking for Somali history around 2017 when i found this place been a lurker for too long.
