Men who like to "police" Muslim women, come in.

Stop telling women what to wear and control your own eyeballs, lower your gaze. It's your sin if you keep staring, not hers.

Stop blaming rape/attack victims and deal with the aggressors

A women was once raped in Medina while walking to the mosque for fajr prayer. When she complained to the Prophet (SAW) he didn't question why she was walking alone like most of our men would do today. Rather he listened to her and brought justice to the victim.
The rapist admitted his crime and was killed as a punishment.
Source: Al Tirmidhi 1454 Grade Sahih.

For all those saying the woman shouldn’t have been traveling on motorway all alone in the first place.

Many Muslim men claim to be part of the ummah of the Prophet Muhammed SAW but instead of controlling themselves and holding other men accountable, they like to police and blame women for every disaster that befalls them.

A woman gets molested or raped and in comes the usual sexist diatribe:

"Why did you wear that "
"Why were you walking alone"
"Why this "
"Why that"

Learn from the prophet and stop trying to pass your own sexist thoughts as "Islam".

Some women are like that too. Internalized misogyny and pick-me-ism are rampant! People need to mind the business that pays them. For men, they need to lower their gaze, and stack their money (aka don't get involved in women's affairs).

naah baayo macaan you are wrong on this. Muslims women need to be checked. We are not western khanis men who can't control their women - they need to be corrected just like the men. its a decree from god

I'll never defend a rapist, but the word 'police' is too broad. People want to make the haram halal and get mad when other people point it out.

When Allah speaks of lowering the gaze and hijab he speaks about the men first in suraat Noor "tell the believing males first to lower their gazes and protect their private parts"

And one whole verse later he says "Also tell the believing women"

Hijab isn't just for women its for guys aswell lower your gaze and you won't even know who got hijab or what shes wearing

I see where you are coming from walale but, Islam is compulsory, as people, we have not been sent to make others practise.

What we can control, is our own eyes and behaviour.

Also, if we live in a Muslim country, the laws can deal with disrespectful people.

I've been to Arab countries in the Khaleeji area and let me tell you!
People who are forced into Islam end up resenting Islam or committing Shirk because they fear Human backlash and not Allah.

Look at how the first Muslims behaved towards each other, men and women together, worshipping and doing business. That's our role model for society, not this modern-day madness.

Muslims need to follow the Prophet SAW, without his moderate behaviour, we will turn into extremist with extreme societies.

Reminding people of the truth is not policing people. Allah made us the best of mankind because we enjoy the good and forbid the wrong.

You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. Surah Aali Imraan 110

Banu Israel were destroyed, turned into pigs and monkeys and cursed by the prophets solely for not forbidding the wrong.

Those among the Children of Israel who disbelieved were cursed by the tongue of Dawud (David) and 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). That was because they disobeyed (Allah and the Messengers) and were ever transgressing beyond bounds. They used not to forbid one another from the Munkar (wrong, evil-doing, sins, polytheism, disbelief, etc.) which they committed. Vile indeed was what they used to do. Surah Maidah 78-79

My advice to all of you and myself foremost is to accept the Haq, how bitter it may taste. Keep on reminding, for remembrance benefits the believers (Surah Dariyaat ayah 55)

Absolutely, reminding people in a respectful manner and within limits, is normal, I believe.
However, there are men and women who are aggressive and persistent in their actions.

For example, your brother refuses to pray, remind him "Pray, Allah has commanded you so". If he refuses, remind him of the side-effects and let him do him.

There are some people, that would actually physically harm someone for not praying or even commit sin by insulting the person.

We cannot make any human do anything.

I also have an issue when Muslims say, " Islam allows me to do this sin" BUT if someone says " I am a Muslim but I am sinning"-- ok, that's their business then soo maaha?

We are suppose to lower our gaze anyways, to prevent debase acts like this. Our love for Allah SWT and the deen should be stronger than the urge in your loins and whispers of Shaytaan. :childplease:

There’s a difference between dacwa and talking shit. You’re supposed to check yourself before you check others as arrogance will lead you to hellfire. You are not guaranteed jannah. While you’re so called checking Muslim women, have you paid zakah, salah, treated people nicely and used kind words, asked for forgiveness from Ilahay for your own sins and wrong doings? Probably not so naga amuusa.

You want to know what extreme behaviour is that uses Islam as an excuse? Afghanistan, Pakistan and those other Asian countries who found ways to include their Pre-Islam woman-hating acts into the religion.

Arabs used to bury their daughters ALIVE before Islam.. after the caliphates collapsed, we can see how suddenly men started their favourite hobby of trying to sideline and marginalise women.

Aisha RA, used to teach men and women Islam, we don't see prominent female scholars of Islam.

Women and girls are hidden like they are a dirty secret!

Even in the Qur'aan, Allah SWT dedicated a entire Surah to WOMEN called "Surah An-Nissa".

So, check your ego, being physically stronger doesn't make you more important.
