Out of all the people that get diagnosed with HIV nearly half are gay or bisexual. Gays make up less than 5% of the population. So the odds of getting HIV as a straight man engaging in only vaginal sex is extremely low. Plus the 49% supposed straight HIV infection could have been engaging in homosexual activities but won't admit it.
