Me & TekNIKKO arrived at a truce w/ the hordes of Gypsies in Istanbul. We acknowledged that we, Geeljires, are beggars just like them

(keep in mind that we had to eat outside because of the strict covid19 rules in place in Turkey. This has given them the chance to raid us)

Yesterday, me and @TekNiKo willingly gave our food leftovers to this roaming Gypsy family that have waged a reign of terror on us for the past 4 days as we usually ate from this restaurant we liked. First day the gypsy mothers unleashed their kids on us and one of them grabbed my drink and ran with it. The next day they came for “TekNIKKO’s drink and he screamed as if he was being looted by a hawiye in Mogadishu That little wild child ran for her life. Y’all should’ve seen how he screamed at her.

However, yesterday, me and @TekNiKo realized that we had a false pride. Indeed we share a lot of trait with this gypsy people. Most importantly we are a begging nation. We beg just like the gypsy. So we approach them and gave them our leftover food yesterday. We even smiled together. One beggar nation in solidarity with another.

@TekNiKo remember the resentment we had towards them at the beginning . How we curse at them for being such a shameless beggars. They were even fat. Then it dawned on us “we’ve been a begging nation since our independence”.
