The kid is smart, in my opinion. He is sneaky bastard, he is changing to moderate version of islam not because he cares about moderation, he knows the extremism that his family spread has been picked up by the wrong hands the brotherhood who are using political/economical/violent wings and they basically coming for him because the brotherhood is non religious it doesn't care what Sunni Islam is in practise.
I deep down think the true intention of that wahabism was to keep muslim subservient to Saudi arabia and they were achieving through the mosques, basically creating generations of Saudi bots all over the islamic world which will obviously serve as a huge pressure on the govt of that land to respond to his people pro-saudi attitudes and to ALIGN to their foreign policy. Though MBS did mention, the west wanted wahabism to spread to islamic countries so they uprise against the USSR and break down it's axis is very possible and I suspect it has some truth in it, but what he fails to clearly mention is that it clearly served Saudi arabia also because it keeps their monopoly on islamic nations and remaining the 'boss' basically that the world comes too in relation to Islamic matters. This also ensures their alliance pool grows across the islamic world and hence their importance and stature before the west goes up.
The West and USSR to an extent, like's top regional dogs because through them they can spend their own resources to create their underlings below and it all basically ends up going to the franchise at the top either in Moscow or DC. China however doesn't seem to have this approach, it's reasoning I don't know but I will be reading closely why it's playing a different game because those guys don't do stuff for nothing.
So don't be fooled by MBS and I know a-lot muslims are like finally some moderation is coming and may have a knock-on effect on their firebrand islam, but this guy is trying to differentiate himself from those terrorists and he will then use saudi arabia as a BEACON of Islamic hope, watch him begin the america style talk in the future and start re-aligning islam to his moderation, his clerics giving moderation twist to everything, his going to start re-penetrating mosques around the world to do the same and guess what we end up just being the same we were in wahabi, back as saudi bots. But I don't think he knows how the MB operates perfectly, regardless of what he switches too, they also adapt to it and just pick it up all over again executing their agenda cause their not religious at all nor care for the flavor of islam be it moderate or extreme, they just wanna own the world and that's it.
So don't trust him, we need to SPLIT completely from any form of Islam they have and train our own in our own land using our culture as a backdrop and history. We don't need to go to egypt, saudi, or turkey to learn this. Look at the omanis having their own form of islam, look how peaceful they are and never penetrated. Oman should be the model for somalia in governance and religion.
I don't mean copying them word for word how they do it, but learning from how independent they are, we just need to learn from that part, but switching it or converting that somali indepedence of arab and african influence. If turks, egyptians and saudis and iranians can form their own center of learnings why in the world cannot africans or somalis for that matter? are they some-what more closer to god then us? we need to drop this slave minded shit and split and begin a somali based islam.
