of areas the diaspora or the Somali government invest in. The Somalia should become a low cost manufactering outsourcing country and seek Somali/foreign investors to invest in these key areas as listed down below.

We need to privately invest and fund a large scale electrical grid in order for us to begin large scale domestic manufacturing. None of these are possible without large scale electricity and power.

If we’re able to privately fund a port and road to connect Africa to Asia we can definitely fund a large scale project like this.

Before industry we should focus on food stability, making sure our people have enough calories to do labor , think, study, and live in leisure without worry about food

Dates are less competitive in the markets; most of the largest producers are near us, it’s dense in calories(more energy than wheat or rice), fiber (abates hunger), minerals and micronutrients; also we have the capacity to grow it eventually

Wheat and rice is innately unsalable commodity, it will enslave us economically, and decrepit us physically and mentally
