Male Awrah- Male Modesty in Islam

Navel to Knees are considered your private parts aka Awrah according to Islam. Don't show off your 'V' area or your thighs to women or men. It's only for your wife to see.

There is a company that makes modest shorts for men like this, so there are no excuses.

I believe the area between the knees and navel is considered awrah, some scholars also think the navel should be hidden. I'm not sure about the knees themselves though? Maybe @Tamir will know more.

Imam nawawi sed that the actual knees are not part of the awrah and most of the madhaahib say that knee is not part of the awrah. So its the thighs pelvic area and also up to the navel
