This is good for reer Gedo. They’ll finally have an international recognised government and get access to FGS and JL projects. Reer Galmudug can go back too. Importantly this will now free up the front line states offensive and second wave of Shabaab ops, they can begin in JL. Also JL can take part in the local elections next year. Very good news for all of Somalia

Not good for them this was forced on them before even some reconciliation took place. Like i said Gedo is victim of Deni zilzaal. From day 1 Hassan Sh was able to and over Gedo to Madobe but didnt bc there was no reason to give him for free now he needs madobe and JL bc of the clash with PL.
