Farmajo was an American tourist, Xassan spent 30 years of the civil war in Xamar. Opened one of the most prestigious universities in the country and has educated thousands of youths. They can't be compared in anyway.

I don't care who leads Somalia as long as it is someone who have our best interest at heart and who would work hard to develop the country so it befits all the citizens regardless of their qabiil.. We should also have one of the strongest militaries so we can keep our nations enemies in check..Maybe, maybe not. A smart government would introduce a mobile money tax all over Somalia after all its a monopoly controlled by 2 companies would bring in alot of income and quite easy to implement. Even a diaspora tax / contribution like Eritrea got would make Somali government independent from aid.
I'm a rational person, if FGS controls no region directly(it cant according to the constitution), and it controls every region as much indirectly. Everyone finances FGS equally, and FGS solely focuses on financial stability, foreign affairs and military, (note this is what I advocate for). I could care less who leads Somalia it could be a Polynesian.
Unfortunately non Hawiye Somalis seem to demand that FGS directly controls Banaadir so I will advocate for my people to hold FGS on a tight leash and weaponise it to benefit those that it taxes and are its real constituents.

Huuhaa Banaadir provided 300million in taxes. And according to my own and UN predictions the tax revenue from Xamar will reach 400million next year. So tell me you laangaab what does your region contribute to FGS?
