The Maakhir State (Warsangeli State) project is unrealistic because it is a tribal project.
If every Somali clan was allowed to create its own federal state,
how many tribal-based Somali federal states would emerge in Somalia?
I as a Warsangeli, we have two options:
either we stay in the state of Puntland or we join the SSC.
I wisely suggest that the Warsangeli participate in the SSC project (our historical allies).

The Maakhir Project is a political maneuver by Mogadishu and the SNM to destroy and destabilize Puntland and prevent the Warsangeli from joining the SSC in order to prevent the SSC from acquiring federal state status.

This Maakhir movement doesn’t seem like it’ll ever come to fruition. As of now it’ll remain in Puntland. It can’t join SSC Khaatumo for many reasons. In Somalia to become a “State” you need your share of the international donations. It seems Puntland & Somaliland still split the donations. SSC’s current obstacle. These “Welcoming’s” & “Meetings” are no different then the parties every tribe annually has in Nairobi.
It would be naive to think that it is possible to establish four Darood states (Maakhir, SSC, Puntland and Jubaland).
According to the Somali constitution, at least two regions are needed to establish a federal state.
So how is it possible to establish the federal state of Maakhir?
HSM is using the tactic of “divide and rule”.
HSM wants to take SSC and Maakhir from Puntland and place them (SSC and Maakhir) under his direct rule.
Therefore, if HSM succeeds in his plan,
What would prevent him from deciding their fate and integrating them into Somaliland using his presidential power?
HSM's ultimate plan is to divide the Somalia into two entities: the north (former British Somaliland) and the south (former Italian Somaliland) in a joint confederation.
Any Warsangali who is enthusiastic, determined and beating the drum for the establishment of a Maakhir State at this time and under this Somali Federal Government led by HSM is either a traitor and an agent (Horgal) or simply a fool and naive.
