Literature in Somalia

Is there any notable historical books/manuscripts written in Somalia? Not taking about the dozens of contemporary refugee stories that's so heavily propagated today; but rather poetry, fictional prose, theology/philosophy, etc. (Preferably in Arabic script, can't read Somali in latin and it looks quite ugly tbh)
