Surprisingly some countries had some even bloodier and more devastating wars. Our civil spat seems miniscule in the grand scheme of things.

Yet we keep mentioning it like it's the end all and be all. The difference is all these countries made plans and rebuilt after one side overpowered the other completely. We are going through our rough patch now and will get better over time.

At one point in time most countries were in worse shape than Syria is today or even Yemen. Lets not lose hope.

Myanmar had a 60 year civil war. And they still managed to get over it and build a somewhat decent country ( albeit genocidal but hey so was Germany at it's peak).

Actually Syria, Afghanistan and Yemen conflicts are still listed as ongoing, surprisingly the Sudan conflict is too.

Lets not forget North Korea and south Korea since no official peace treaty was signed. I don't know why ppl in here seem to think our civil war was the worst or longest one, even though we are generally at peace and only plagued by qabilism and terrorists and NGO thieves.

Most civil wars are low intensify. Nothing major was happening in the arab part of Sudan even when they had civil war in darfur.

They were so corrupt and spilled so much blood that the angels had to come down and punish hem collectively.

Hence why the angels asked if the almighty would create another creation that spills blood.
