Legendary picture. Hassan Sheikh and Farmaajo are better than many former Presidents.

Not only have they transitioned power peacefully, they have both maintained internarial recognition and held on to the state institutions. Sheikh Sharief wasn't bad but his state was more of a military transitional government. My question to you guys is, do you think that if Somalia continues this peaceful transitions of power and slowly builds their army; would it possible for us to become a stable oil rich federal state?

Nacas Farmajoo trying to save face after failed 2 year extension thanks to HAG army. He will be in court soon for the murder of Ikraan Tahlil and many others.

Very true @Galmudug-State but it is still a very beautiful picture.

He did not plan to let go peacefully but realised SNA is mostly a HAG force outside of his little tiktok laangaab division.

Despite all this, it has been a graceful transition from Sharmaajo. I give credit where it’s due and inshallah this tradition of a peaceful transition will carry on infinitely

Yeah I guess Siyaad Barre and Abdullahi Yusuf didn't try to safe face. That makes zero sense. Btw Ikran Tahlil was a Nisa agent that was killed, he most likely had nothing to do with that and countless Nisa agents are killed yearly since the beginning of the Somali republic.

Btw, trialing these Nisa agents or Farmaajo will only force the incumbent to not peacefully transfer because of fears that his successor will arrest him. Now to the topic, do you think Somalia is on the right track towards development if continue the way we are and Hasan Sheikh goes about his promised reforms?

She was kidnapped by NISA, even if he didn’t order the hit he never investigated.

He should be held account for the AAW attack given that was a direct order from above.

We will take him to court for Ikraan and law maker Sadio Ahmed murders and Qalbi Dhagax, So if he is innocent than he has nothing to worry about.

Unpopular opinion but our country is too far gone to be fixed this slowly. (1.6% gdp growth avg)

Only forward I believe is benevolent dictatorship then preferably democracy after like Singapore or Turkey did. Either that or we become a UN colony forever until the next world war

3% from here on out as we receive IMF funding after the economic reforms. 7% growth in Mogadishu is probably the figure.

Till we get rid of Al-Shabaab in the South, growth won’t reach 5%.

3% would only put us as 137th fastest growing economy. To put it into perspective, 3% growth it would take us 40 years to reach 15bn, which is around size of Palestine's economy last year.

Yes it’s awful but I do hope the growth figure in the cities are a lot higher. Say Mogadishu starts teaching 10% growth then we could see an expanding capital and mass migration towards it. At least some parts of the country will be advanced.

We have too many geeljire ppl. Half the country provide zero value to our economy. Another half of those that live in urban areas are women who also provide no value to the economy

We can easily take out Al-shabab with drone technology, The Turks can help us with this.

Economy is tie with secruity. So no real growth until we create Benedir state and eliminate Al-shabab especially from HAG lands.

Listen to me. Allah swt had mercy on us. We escaped from a various dangerous position. Farmajoo wanted to bring Ethiopian troops to Somalia to keep him in power as a dictator. Only the civil war in Ethiopia saved us.

The bastard tried everything and I mean everything. But our will NEVER faulted.

He and his community are evil. They showed no mercy or never stopped for a second. They fought us with everything they had and even murdered law maker Amina Ahmed.

Let's not fall for cheap tricks. They are enemies to us and we fought our way out. Some of our people died in this struggle so don't make their blood cheap. Farmajoo never left peacefully he was booted out and we fought every step of the way.

The transfer of power has been graceful and professional on Farmaajo side, he is very hands on along with the committee managing the technical side of things. This is extremely helpful towards Hassan Sh because he isn't just thrown in the deep end, I believe this attitude of support will continue.
