Lebanese site: "Ethiopian worker steals $60 thousand from employer’s house, runs away"

An Ethiopian domestic worker stole an amount of USD 60 thousand from the house of her 86-year-old employer Victoria Assaad Abou Sleiman, residing in the region of Dahr al-Sawan in Metn district, the state-run National News Agency.

The worker managed to escape toward an unknown destination.


The security forces circulated her photo and a copy of her passport in a bid to find her and arrest her.

They probably refused to pay her for her work (a common issue in the region) so she probably just took what was rightfully hers
