The theme combines the concepts of nationalism from Somalia, Amazigh and Americans. The red, white, blue symbolizes The Somali Youth League and the American flag. The coin headdress symbolizes free market and my Berber heritage, which are called the free people. The sailor aesthetic is for the main occupation for the Somalis to settle in the USA. The silver jewelry is to symbolize my people’s strong connection to God. The color silver is a holy color in Berber culture.
