I'd love to meet him to discuss the kacaan leadership as my family were in the institutions(foreign affairs, diplomatic corp). Thats why I don't talk to much about diplomatic world as I already learned the art behind it due to family. I mean gee if the diplomatic base was so skilled under the kacaan imagine the other higher posts in institution or leadership, walle dawlad way jirtay lakin cawanimo won the day. We must get these guys to come out and hand down their wisdom and experience before its to late.
Today when u see Somali institutions, the skilled n seasoned diplomats dont even want to stain their name or legacy by associating with the second rates during siyad govt era who are now holding every office up to the presidency.

One of the reasons the kacaan was very loved in the early days was cause of this committee , not only did it have very smart , popular figures . It was also diverse qabil wise :

If he suspected them to be dissidents or anti regime yes. He was increasingly paranoid after his car crash and the attempted coup after the 77' war. Otherwise they were rewarded with a cabinet position or were given control of branch of the security forces. I.e NSS, Hangash, Presidential Guard, Mobile Military Court etc etc.
