The Parliament of South West State are very pro-Laftagareen, the evidence of this is very clear - Pro Laftagareen senators were selected during the elections and also an extra mandate was added for the mandate of Laftagareen and also for the institutions including the parliament.

If you remember the Parliament that is currently operating in South West State was selected on March 19, 2020.

The South West Constitution states in the 39th Article that the mandate of the Parliament is 4 years, this means that without the extension alone the mandate would have ended on March 19 2024. This has now been extended to 5 years The extension was given to not only Laftagareen but also to the Parliament. This means that Laftagareen term ends on December 2023, but the Parliament will remain operating till March 19 2025! The very same Pro-Laftagareen Parliament.

Laftagareen has also been training a lot of South West State Forces to protect him and also don’t forget the Ethiopian Backing he has… this man is letting his nuts hang and is not going anywhere! Rememeber this thread.

HSM is going to try the very same thing we opposed from Boonmaajo and will try to hold rigged elections in Baraawe to install Rooboow. It’s gonna end in shame and failure as Ethiopia will never allow an Ex-Al Shabaab to become President of SWS or any other state they border. Also his hypocrisy of ignoring Guudlaawe extension of 5 years and picking on Laftagareen will show the type of person he is!

If HSM tries to install someone into SWS will only cause the Ethiopian troops to expand into Shabeelada hoose especially Baraawe and Afgooye - Xamar border. There is current rumours that I cant confirm that by the end of the month that Ethiopian as well as Koonfur Galbeed troops will be sent to Baraawe, Marka and Afgooye due to these degmos being the most strategic.

As for Laftagareen the only way that he can be currently removed is through HSM going into agreement with Ethiopia. As you can currently see the opposite is happening. HSM has made agreements with Egypt severely upsetting Ethiopia. But it is possible that Laftagareen can be removed by HSM if in the future he has an agreement with Ethiopia causing to stop their inteference.

LG and Madoobe don’t want just 1 year extra, they want re-election. This is all that matters and HSM has to prep for in 2024.

They were best having their re-electrons early in HSM’s term while he’s still finding his feet, occupied by drought and hasn’t got control of the military, weak finances.

Guudlawe and QoorQoor are not enemies. They just took advantage of NN support and ditched them hence why most of Galmudug MPs supported HSM as well as Hirshabelle. So HSM has little to worry about come next election when it comes to these two. Although HSM might have a personal vendetta with QoorQoor over the Waceysle MPs selection.

But like you said HSM has a lot of KG support that are opposed to LG. He had to release Roobow (who Ethiopia were always going to see as a threat in KG as he kicked them out of Bay in 2007). So honestly nothing HSM could’ve done to avoid Ethiopia getting involved.
