They were a big community in Waqooyi Galbeed. My Absame great grandmother came from Berbera.

There is still a Jidwaaq community that lives in Berbera and they make up majority in some
Neighborhoods. Ogaden Absame on the other hand can be found concentrated in Hargeisa and the interior parts of the region.

Bro there is a sub district in Hodan called "Xafad Qoraxey", its full of OG, check it out man, we are big in xamar, i would not be surprised if we are the biggest so called fake Darooood in the capital

i know and have personally visited several schools run by OG teachers and lots of OG students in the top universities in xamar
