This is a recurring theme. Al Shabaab attack KDF, Kenyan police retaliate by killing Somali Kenyans at random. Then the Kenyan media and government make sensationalist claims against the victims and it becomes the gospel according to Kenyan law enforcement allowing them to start the cycle of violence all over again.
Either they have a financial incentive to keep this going or they really hate Somalis, my guess is both.
