Apparently the reason Ethiopians eat raw meat is because there was a war between Somalis and Ethiopians which the Somalis won. The Ethiopians then started eating raw meat after that because they did not have fire to cook their meat.

I'm not sure if [Ethiopian] Protestant and Catholic Christians eat pork or not...but Ethiopian Jews, Orthodox Christians, and Muslims don't eat pork. (It's not about ethnicity, but no to your question).
