So we can say IRIR honeymoon, is over?
They awdal dawlad met fiqi recently, so we should expect some announcement regarding this soon. We slapped Ethiopia diplomatically, now minister of the interior has turned towards jeegan.

This seems incredibly implausible.

Firstly, acknowledging a paper state without any organized governance or provisional authority, particularly one that lacks control even over the capital, is absurd. The notion that the SNA could conduct a "special operation" through Galbeed to reclaim an entire square of territory is unrealistic given the current capabilities of the army.

If Somalia aimed to undermine the legitimacy of Somaliland, a more effective strategy would involve recognizing something tangible, a region physically connected to the government with established infrastructure. The recognition of SSC would serve this purpose.

If necessary, a strategy similar to what the United States did could be employed - dividing the capital into the city and a smaller section designated as a special zone for governmental buildings, with Banadir State being acknowledged as a separate entity. Alternatively, merging Lower Shabelle with Banadir to form a larger Banadir state could be considered, especially if maintinga balanced representation of Hawiye and Darood Senators is deemed *that* crucial.

Furthermore, recognizing SSC could boost the morale of Awdal unionists and various union factions within Somaliland, potentially strengthening their position.

Daaroods believe that IRIR SAMAALE is a new alliance formed by Hawiye and Isaaq. On the other hand, Isaaq always runs to claim IRIR SAMAALE when they feel threatened, such as during the Goojacade days when they saw that Hawiyes didn't care about their struggle. They are now claiming Oromo and Abagadhaa. But From a Hawiye standpoint, Irir Samaale has always been our ancestor. We have never claimed any other made-up bulshit. In contrast to Isaaq and Daarood, who claim to be Arabs, Hawiye is the only clan in Somalia that is still proud to be descendants of our ancestor Samaale we don't change like chameleons.

There's no need to be hostile towards Daroods when they're just engaging in some banter.

However, the entire idea that the clans descending from Irir Samaale are involved in some kind of backroom secret conspiracy against Daroods is a crackpot conspiracy theory. It's akin to a Japanese soldier found in the '70s still believing World War II is ongoing.

There was an alliance between SNM and USC before the SNM reneged on their word and declared independence, followed by the mass killing of Samaroons in Awdal. After that, anything resembling an "Irir" alliance ceased to exist.

There is no coordination; sometimes the truth is just that simple. Bihi and HSM aren't manipulating the entire MoU for nefarious reasons. Bihi negotiated with Ethiopia and signed the MoU behind HSM's back because, in his own mind, he doesn't need approval from Mogadishu as an independent president of a sovereign country.

Does IOG want to maintain good relations with Somaliland because of a secret anti-Daarood plot he's part of? Or, consider this, Somaliland is his direct neighbor ofcourse he cares for its stability. Any existential collapse of Somaliland would create issues for the stability and economy of Djibouti.

The biggest problem is that Isaaq, since they declared independence, have taken such a strange direction that no one really knows who they are.

The issue lies in the fact that when it comes to Isaaq, their abtirsi is not uniform among all subclans. A substantial part believes they descend from and are a subclan of the Dir, while others believe themselves to be from independent Yemenite descent. This divergence in the Irir theory itself is a problem.

That's why it's embarrassing when someone like Edna Aden or some elder shouts, "Irir! Help us!" because they've spent the last thirty years claiming to be Banu Hashim. This liberal manipulation of lineage diminishes its value for everyone.
