Jeans and Denim clothes in general are American culture exported to the rest of the world. Denim was invented in France and Jeans was invented by a German-Jew in America.

However I love jeans because they’re fashionable but also strong clothes you know, it’s basically always been the clothes of the Working Man in rough industrial jobs as well as countryside work ect.
We need something similar for Somalis. Our own version of shirts which could be like a tunic with a 3/4 sleeve and it fits loosely way past the waist maybe down to the thighs or something but not too low.

besides the styles that can be whatever, I’ve just been thinking of material that is tough like denim In jeans and can last you decades. But also be so obscure that if Somali companies export and brand it as Somali menswear it could catch on globally as Somali clothing. The fabric.
