That’s such a disrespectful tweet. Since when were Somalis influenced by “j*reer” in Sweden? Why do people automatically assume that Somali elders are respectable people with moral values? If that were the case, their children wouldn’t turn into criminals or whatever else. When you have too many kids, aren’t involved in their lives, and are friends with other ladies that have terribly behaved children, what do you think is going to happen? These elders have failed in parenting, and that’s that.

I might sound sped, but the whole "Madowificaiton" of Somalis in Sweden during the mid 2010s isn't even that crazy to say. Like, come on ngas took pride in saying that their city is like Chicago, dangerous, and just flexing wearing Gucci and like other designer brands. Black Americans actually have influence globally when it comes to style and degeneracy.

When your a young boy and you grow up in a low income neighborhood it's mostly a choice to participate in crime.
Like I know some kids get groomed into that lifestyle but for a lot of young men it's a choice.
I lived in the hood for elementary, and most of middle school. Than I moved to the suburbs in my teens but still lived on the low income side of my area. In my neighborhood during high school I wasn't running into young men that were gang banging. Instead I ran into multiple guys that were selling drugs and scamming.
A lot of young men growing up in low income neighborhoods start to really realize how poor they are around 12-13 years old. One of the main rude awakening for this is when poor kids realize their parents can't afford to buy them nice clothes. The popular kids usually always had the nicest clothing brands and shoes. In high school they were usually the first ones to get cars.
Once I realized I was really poor as a kid I just took the L. Some guys simply couldn't do this. Instead of just taking the L they decided to start scamming and selling drugs just so they can afford nicer things.

Besides money, young boys get into the lifestyle to gain respect of other men and women.
A lot of the girls would date these dudes and men won’t try you if you have some sort of connection to the streets or have a reputation dealing etc.
I’ve seen dudes with good hard working families and we’re living comfortable lives play gangsta becuase of the appeal. That’s why I don’t believe this poverty excuse. Dudes be doing it for clout.
The reality is that second generation immigrants like us always have identity problems since we are basically westerners with a second culture that is foundational to our identity. This creates a massive alienation problem. We are neither fully westerner nor are we fully somali. In our attempt to solve this we try to reconnect to our somali roots and take an intrest in somali culture. This has become increasingly common as the diaspora comes of age
Ita impossible to see yourself as a guest if you were born and raised in a country. The avg somali diasporid learns and consumes 95% of their worldview from the western society. Outside the little interaction we have with our parents and in dugsi its all western stuff. I came to the realization years ago that outside our relegion and some of tje beliefs it entails our worldviews and thought processes are orders of magnitude closer to your avg white person then somebody born in somalia

I've seen dudes act this way but they still never sold drugs or scammed. They usually don't have to since their parents usually give them the nice clothes and etc.
When I was younger the quickest ways to become popular was by either becoming a decent student athlete or showing up to school with the nicest clothes. Football and basketball players don't gotta be hood niggas to become popular. They just gotta be good at they sports.
A lot of madow parents know this hence why hence they allow their children to compete in sports. They know it can help them build confidence and help them make friends.

I was born and raised in Egypt. I never felt like a foreigner but I still knew I wasn’t and never will be Egyptian. I dare her to say she’s Swedish with a straight face. Her mom is right. Y’all in Europe are guests and need to know that.
