Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he was made to enter Paradise, on it he was expelled from it.

What to do on the day of Friday:

1) Take a bath
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Ghusl (taking a bath) on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim reaching the age of puberty.” (Bukhari)

2) Apply perfume (for men)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever takes a bath on friday, purifies himself as much as he can, then uses his (hair) oil or perfumes himself with the scent of his house, then proceeds (for the Jumua prayer) and does not separate two persons sitting together (in the mosque), then prays as much as (Allah has) written for him and then remains silent while the Imam is delivering the Khutba, his sins in-between the present and the last friday would be forgiven.” (Bukhari)

3) Establish Friday Prayer in the mosque

“O you who believe (Muslims)! When the call is proclaimed for the Salaah (prayer) on Friday (Jumu‘ah prayer), come to the remembrance of Allaah [Jumu‘ah religious talk (Khutbah) and Salaah (prayer)] and leave off business (and every other thing). That is better for you if you did but know!” [al-Jumu’ah 62:9]

The Prophet ﷺ said: “When it is a Friday, the angels stand at the gate of the mosque and keep on writing the names of the persons coming to the mosque in succession according to their arrivals. The example of the one who enters the mosque in the earliest hour is that of one offering a camel (in sacrifice). The one coming next is like one offering a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg respectively. When the Imam comes out (for Jumua prayer) they (i.e. angels) fold their papers and listen to the Khutba.” (Bukhari)

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever neglects three Jumu’ahs, Allaah will place a seal on his heart.” (Abu Dawood)

4) Read Surah Kahf
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever recites Surah kahf on Friday, a Noor will shine for him until the following Friday.” (Bayhaqi)

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever recites the opening ten verses of Surah Kahf will be protected from the fitnah of Dajjal” (Muslim)

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays” (al-Haakim)

5) Send salawat upon the Prophet
Allahumma salli wa sallim alaa Nabiyina Muhammad.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Among the best of your days is Friday; so supplicate Allah more often for me in it , for your supplications will be displayed to me.” He was asked: “O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! How will our blessings be displayed to you when your decayed body will have mixed with the earth?” He ﷺ replied, “Allah has prohibited the earth from consuming the bodies of the Prophets.” [Abu Dawood, Saheeh Al-Albani]

6) Make dua throughout the day

The Prophet ﷺ said: “On Friday there is an hour when, if a Muslims happens to pray at that time and ask Allaah for something good, He will give it to him.” (Bukhari)

This is to be sought especially after asr before maghrib.

May Allah s.w.t elevate the ummah of Muhammad s.w.s and accept our du'aas. :it0tdo8:
