They figured out how to beat Israel because of its location they have proxies on every corner. Hezbollah, Hamas (inside which is brutal), Houthies etc. And their air defense is too expensive so if they keep bombing Israel will go broke. Plus a lot of their young people who can leave have left. So its not sustainable in the long term and they know this.

The Iranian diaspora have some of the most annoying nationalistic people. I know their regime is brutal and they treat women like garbage, but rooting for your nation to be bombed to shreds is next level idiotic.
And the worst part is when people tell them that civil war is worse they argue "we are not Arabs we are Persians, we are better" not realizing that mentality in itself is tribal and backwards lmao. Lack of self awareness is wild. And go look at their demographics, thr "Persians" make up only 60% of the population. I only see this online, most of the Iranians I meet irl are some of the nicest, smartest, respectful people. It's bizarre stuff online.
