The quickest way to learn good manners is to be surrounded by pious shuyookh, students of knowledge, or the general community that has good manners, as it will then imprint itself upon you as well.

Just don't harbour ill will towards anyone, even those that you consider to have bad manners. Have love and compassion in your heart, and not judgement and hate Allah forbid.

Can you respond with kindness in the face of hostility?

Can you keep your nose out of other peoples business?

Are you easily offended?

Do you talk about others (whether in their face or behind their back) constantly in a way that would offend or even just make them uncomfortable?

Do you look down on some people and up to others?

If you have these traits, sorry to break it to you, but you do not have good character!
