Many scientific breakthroughs where made during this time which were later studied by western European scholars after the Mongols decimated much of the big ME cities such as Bagdad which was the center point of Islamic empire.

It all began in hamitic egypt but no one wants to give that desert some credit, then it moved to nimrod's babylon (that's two cushitic kingdoms) and finally it was persia's turn then assyria and after it spread to greece and later they were conquered by rome who is still ruling today in some way.
